Constructing a Korean Target

Framework

First, we need lumber for our project

Next, we line up our boards

After that, we put the target together

Stain and sealant finish off the basic framework

 Conveyor Belting

We now check the size of the first strip of conveyor belting

All the rest of the conveyor belting is measured, cut, and nailed to the frame; the seams are sealed with silicone caulking

The conveyor belting all attached

Painting

Base coats of white are applied

After the center circle is outlined, masking tape is put around it, and the red interior is painted

The outline of the squares are taped

The upper rectangle is filled in...

...then the lower one

When all is painted, the tape is removed

The finished target

Setup

The target when put up and ready to shoot

From a distance

From the side, showing the framework, and the 15 degree back slant of the target

From a slightly different angle

And another angle

And another...

From the shooting line, 145m (159 yards) away
