Technically speaking, rotating the bow to a half round or just dipping with slightly rotate are very similar as the arrow diameter is so small (7-9 mm).

The arrow 's also so fast. If you look at the video t=5:29, the arrow touch the bow anyway. Large or small rotation are just a product of follow through which happened several millisec after the arrow left the string.

I saw some historic painting show foot archers shoot their bow with their bow half turn rotate (cant find it now) and I have practiced that style since then. Personally, I found the style 's fit for me as I had zero hand shock and my gripping, pusshing are more consistent.

Unlike Japanese Kyudo, Korea archery seems to be more flexible in term of minor detail. I attended one school, had one master and three teachers, they told me the same basic technique but they have slightly different detail.

I would say my artificial horn bow is quieter and smoother than my carbon but by the eye may be slightly slower in caste but not by a "significant" margin. The bow is just a pleasure to shoot especially when I am on my game.

Teurcro I find the same thing comparing my Korean bows to my Kassai bows. The Kassai's have a narrower arrow pass and are easier to shoot but I get better performance caste wise with the Korean bows and the Korean bows are just a pleasure to shoot.

I bougth it as new from an Online italian shop... uhm perhaps not used but very old and with years of stockage under the belt .

Done first try with wash detergent and now is better but of course not excellent.

I'll try again once to clean it, then stop. The important thing is the performances and on this side I'm not deceived

So do the Korean archers that propel the bow forward, are they getting around the paradox? Wouldnt this be beneficial in that one could use a heavier spined arrow?

Why change? Other than aesthetic or grip, it is just about flawless in regards to a laminate. So impressive!

Hopefully, dish detergent will work and get rid of most of the grease like substance.

The KTB can be drawn to 33" or 34". You just have to be more bow fit .

Were these Hybrid's as I understand them?(Horn on belly and laminated back?)
Or was this one made of artificial materials that are supposed to feel like horn?
To be honest Im confused. It is advertised as artificial, but maybe it is a hybrid?

It had horn on the belly, but the rest was laminate.

Many years ago, Mr. Park gave me one when he first started making them. It was really beautiful and felt good to draw. It was also a smooth shooter, although I think the cast was less than the full-laminate. I have a friend in the States who runs a kuksoolwon school and the only bows he would get from me for his students were the horn/laminate hybrids (he bought many).
