No problem, I'm glad that I could help you.
I'm curious about something, though: How much did you/are you going to pay for the KTB in the UK?

Hi there!
http://www.koreanarchery.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=395 - As you can see in the end of this topic opened by me, I finally got to own a 52 inches long KTB, weighing 60 punds at 31 inches (at least that's marked on it, never really weighed it, though I'm planning to).
First, after comparing it with a 48" and 55# KTB, I noticed it's way smoother. The XL just doesn't stack at all, but it can be a bit tricky to hold at 33 inches(where it's probable to weigh 70lb+).  At least in the beginning, because the bow was new, the materials in it were somehow stiffer. Therefore, stringing it for the first time was a bit difficult...or maybe it was just me being over-careful  tongue
When it comes to speed comparison, I can't state anything. The 48" is lighter, so I'm not sure which could be faster. But when I first shot this 60# XL, I got a little scared of the speed it develops...  big_smile
Brace height is pretty much the same, I keep it between 5.5 and 6 inches.
As far as I know, there are many places in the EU where you cand find them. Try Germany and Netherlands. I bought mine from  Romania.

I knew the therm had many meanings.
Finally got the KTB XL (52" long). It's a 60 pounder, well built, very solid, but at the same time delicate. And it is so amazingly fast!

OK, the guy sold that 70# SMG which he had for sale. And I think it's not worth to order a new one from Korea as long as I have local dealers who sell Kaya bows.
Therefore, I'll stick to the 60# KTB. Now, should I pay extra money to get the long 52" version? Are there big or any differences between it and the standard 48" bow, regarding smoothness, accuracy, and overall performance?
Thank you!

So the draw length at which the SMG stacks depends on the strength of the archer. In other words, we could say the archer stacks  lol
Well that's a relief! Thank you!

Thank you for the advice,sir!
As far as I know, the kaya can be drawn further than the smg which stacks earlier,so the draw weights of the two bows get somehow close
Unfortunately, being a student and having a small budget,I can only afford to buy once and good. So,as I am used drawing high poundage bows and because of the decreased quality that kaya products have shown lately,I think I'll go for the hwarang, and learn the korean way on it.

Hello,archers!

First,I'm about to buy a korean bow,and my two possible options are the Kaya KTB,60#@31" and the SMG Hwarang,70#@28".
Which do you think should I go for? I'm targeting the fastest one.
Second,I hope my topic belongs to this forum. If not,I'm really sorry for that.

Many thanks and best wishes!
