I wonder why shooting an arrow almost straight up into the air is such a fascination?
It's one of the first things a kid will want to do-----myself included.

One thing I will never do is shoot one completely straight up; I always angle it away a little bit. Combined with my flu-flu fletching, along with the whistling head, it won't go very far away. Also, you can still get the thrill out of watching it arc in the sky.
