Topic: String pad question

Greetings.  Just joined and am just about to finish building my first Korean-like bow.  My question has to do with the string pads toward the end of the limbs.  What are the pads made of and where could I buy some if it wasn't practical to make them?

I use 4 mm thick leather piece and felt.

Ancient post, I know, but I noticed recently the compressed felt discs sold to protect carpets from permanent denting by heavy furniture like dressers and bureaux are the same diameter as the string pads on my Kaya KTB. I'm sure they could be dyed to match your colour scheme! In the UK, they're sold at Homebase and The Range.
