if someone has a historical korrect how to , your more than welcome to post it here

So how is the accuracy and speed?  What is the weight of the arrows?   neutral

Re: Korean Overdraw

Nice.  The overdraw is called a tong-ah and the arrows are called either pyeonjeon or aegisal (the former is the more technical name).

The Korean overdraw has a flared opening, but then the channel narrows; the pyeonjeon has a build-up towards the tip, so that it will not jump out of the channel.  One has to be very careful with tong-ah/pyeonjeon, as there have been some very serious accidents.  In my case, I had one jump from the channel and it took a chunk out of my bow, just above the grip; I was lucky that it didn't get me.

Still, they are fun to shoot.  I clocked mine at 283fps (50# bow and 200gr arrow).  I once shot a pyeonjeon over a ski hill (about 500m).

Re: Korean Overdraw

Nice!  The tong-ah is essentially a crossbow system.
