Topic: The broken bow club...

Hi
Two years ago  I thought -after fifteen years, could return to archery but not to the compound bow.
In this way, a few monts later i had my first bow Kaya Winfighter 40# and 32" carbon arrow.
I enjoyed this arc four months, after which time the upper limb broke.

I sent him to the store and under warranty after almost a half years of waiting I received a bow Kaya Windfighter 50 #
Yesterday, after 48 weeks of use in my Winfighter something snapped, and looks like this. Belly site down limb

I will try to advertise it under warranty and see what will happen next  hmm

Re: The broken bow club...

I've had mine for over a year with regular use and no problems yet.  Whats your draw length?  I have read lately people talking about how Kaya"s quality is not what it used to be and going downhill.  If so, thats a real shame because I love m windfighter and was planning on ordering more Kaya bows in the future.

Re: The broken bow club...

Hi Everyone
Few weeks ago i had new "adventure".
When I shot broke horn nock in the arrow and I got a dry fire.
I suppose that the nock was too loose and struck a string not centrally in the bottom nock.

Re: The broken bow club...

My first KTB came with a lamination failure. Before I try to string it I bent the limbs (as I do every time before stringing, I bent the limbs just a little as a worm up or a test if you will) and as if normal, the leather backing tore apart and reviled the lamination fault. The second KTB was just fine untill I placed a new grip and over draw(?) it... I don't know why... It broke at full draw, still got the string wipping mark on my hand. It was such a nice grip from my good old SKB.

Re: The broken bow club...

Yep, Kaya are a POS bow. I bought one in December 2016 and had shot it twice. Went to use it today and it delaminated in the riser. Wrote to Kaya and 'Linda' gave me a 'velly solly  too bad' reply...what a poor quality product and service ....a bow should last more that 2 shots!!!

Sorry to hear that, kaya1.  Freddie pretty much moved on and started his own company (Freddie Archery), and manufactures his own bows now.  You might like to give him a try...
