Topic: Kaya String twists

I have an old Kaya KTB i have started to use again after about 7 years. I un-waxed the string and checked it for damage, all the strands are as good as new and have re-waxed ready for use. Should the Kaya string have string twists like a modern recurve. I have heard that some asiatic bows don't have twists in the string to prevent siyah twist but i can't find anything about the Kaya.

I'm guessing that it doesn't matter unless you need to raise the brace height by twisting the string.  There are many more experienced members here who might have a better opinion.
