Hello,
tested my Kaya.
44# at 28 inch - 285grns arrow - 218fps
55# at 30.5 inches - 480grns arrow - 192fps
fps is averages over 10 shots
maybee its interesting for someone,
and yes i draw short

That's very decent! You can easily draw the Windfighter to 34". So, your performance will improve if you were able to accomodate another four inches of draw.

You say you draw short, what is your normal draw length ? The bottom figures are VERY good to hunt with!

I would say 30.5" is not short. I know it is not as long as some of the Korean archers but the bows are marked for 31" so it is not far off. In fact at my giant 5'8" frame I only draw about 31".

my normal draw is 26.75 inches
and i tried today to draw full length of a powerflight 340,
that would be, around 32,5 inches
and that around 65# then,
at least it feels so, got to measure it
i no hunt, its forbidden in germany, sadly

Thats great speed from a light bow (by modern hunting standards.)
Seems like every post I read tilts me in the right direction... these bows will be more than adequate for big game!

thx, just finished a friends request on comparison of a 45# and a 50# with 28 , 30 and 32 inches of draw to compare fps increase
