Topic: windfighter eats strings

hello
my windfighter eats my streing
first one done after 3 weeks.

it ripped apart on a tourmant after the last shot of the day, at one of the string ends

my dealer send me a new one, custom made, since he thought the original string hast problems with my 70#

now i wanted to mount the string, and saw that the leather ends, where the string is placed, is also eaten up on both ends.

should that be normal?

kind reguards

Thumbs up

Re: windfighter eats strings

Not normal, try taking off everything on the ends of your bow so you can see the nocks clearly. Check for rough and /or
irregular spots in the groove of the nocks. If so , smooth the grooves with round files or sandpaper. That would be the first thing
I would look at.   wink
