As the topic implies, anyone here has extensive experience shooting with the pronged ring? I hear the release is different from the female ring.
Extensive experience? Not that much, but I've shot with them a bit. As the grip is different from that of the amgakji, the release is also a bit different and takes a little getting used to. When one releases, the string has to slide to the side of the sugakji's knob, instead of sliding forward on an amgakji. Still, it happens so fast that, once one is used to it, it becomes second-nature.
